School Information:

5. Total number of children attending school: is 225
6. The children are at school for 9 months per year.
7. School fees per month per child is TZS  60,000/= EQUIVALENT TO $60
8. Children get meals at school
9. The school has 16 teachers
10. Salaries for the teachers varies according to their qualifications, from 1,200,000T/sh to 3,600,000T/sh per year, approximately $1000.00 to $3000.00.

We have 17 children who are not paying school fees, and 13 students who pay half of the total school fees. School uniforms for our students are bought in our town from school uniform stores. The cost for one school uniform is $32 (includes shirt, sweater and skirt/trouser). Shoes costs $11 per pair.

The school equipment needs are:

1. Photocopier for photocopying exams and tests for our students, the copier in Arusha of the nature of our work costs $2,145.
2. One printer which costs $215
3. Three desk top computers for teachers @ $320
4. One laptop computer costs $675
5. Projector costs $ 1,200
6. Projector screen costs $450
7. Internet facility installation which costs $400.

These equipment purchases will enable us to deliver services to our  students efficiently and effectively. All of these items can be secured here in Arusha.

These are a list of items that are always needed: chalk, erasers, pencils, pens, sharpers, dry eraser board, markers, crayons, colored pencils, mathematical sets, dictionaries, Rulers, different colors papers, note books, exercise books, dusters, skipping ropes, balls, volley ball nets and sports jerseys.
